We agree every worker deserves a good paying job and that minimum wage should be increased to keep up with the cost of living. Therefore, I will work to strengthen our existing laws to increase jobs, ensure the rights of low-income workers are protected and support the economic empowerment of minority communities.

Creating Economic Opportunity and Supporting Small Businesses

I will work to support small businesses along Colfax Avenue and throughout North Aurora by expanding access to startup capital, grants, and low-interest loans—especially for minority-owned businesses that are the backbone of our community. By cutting unnecessary red tape and offering tax incentives, we can encourage local investment and help revitalize this vital corridor, creating jobs and economic growth right here in our district.
